Nominations are now being accepted for upcoming board director vacancies for the 2021/22 fiscal year, beginning June 1, 2021. We will hold elections during the May 20 board meeting. If you have a passion for the arts and Tampa Bay Community and would like to work with an amazing group of professionals and artists to produce this esteemed event, please get in touch with us!

Board of Director responsibilities:

We are a year-round working Board – the festival is completely volunteer-run
-
The Board is comprised of up to 20 voting members, including 5 officers

Board members serve a 3-year term

Board members are required to attend monthly Board meetings
-
Board members are required to participate on at least one (1) Board level committees

Board committees include governance and compliance, finance and budget, community outreach, marketing, grants, sponsorship, events, and jurying.

Board members are required to support the organization with a minimum sponsorship of $1,500, which can be self-funded or via sponsorship
Held annually during the first weekend in March in downtown Tampa, the Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts features artwork in ceramic, digital, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, watercolor, and wood. The esteemed event also features local young artists’ works, a weekend full of live entertainment, a children’s art activity area, and more. The Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts awards up to $80,000 in prize money each year.
