“The Gobioff Foundation is excited by the artist selection for this year’s Local Artists Spotlight.” Said Neil Gobioff, President of the Gobioff Foundation. “We are overjoyed that space is being made for local artists to be highlighted alongside the great collection of artists that come from all over to sell their works.”
Local art professionals, Theron Butler of Outcast Theater and the Hillsborough Arts Council, Ryan McCollough of the University of Tampa, Tracy Midulla of Tempus Projects and Crab Devil, Amanda Poss, Director of Gallery 221 at HCC Dale Mabry and Tyler Sirota of TT Art Collective nominated fifteen deserving artists and the GFA Board of Directors narrowed it down to the five listed above. Each of these artists will receive a free space and booth at the festival on March 5 and 6, 2022, giving 30,000+ art overs who will attend the opportunity to see and buy art conceived and created in our own backyard.
